Institute for Rehabilitation
and Integrative Health
Our Mission
PranaRehab Ukraine supports social workers, medical rehabilitation professionals, and frontline care teams by equipping them with practical tools to manage their own stress while caring for those affected by war. We integrate therapeutic yoga, pranayama, Ayurveda, and classical medical rehabilitation modalities to enhance treatment options and create sustainable health outcomes for patients, servicemen, veterans, and civilians impacted by conflict.
We place special emphasis on the health, resilience, and wellbeing of practitioners themselves, recognising that strong and supported caregivers are essential for effective long-term rehabilitation.
For social workers, our programs develop emotional balance, nervous system regulation, and stress management through pranayama and yoga, enabling them to better support the psychological and social needs of those they serve.
For medical rehabilitation professionals, we teach targeted yoga and breathing protocols that can assist physical recovery, trauma rehabilitation, concussion support, pain management, and psychological healing—while also providing methods they can incorporate into their own daily wellbeing routines.
Our Vision
Our vision is to help build a nationwide Ukrainian teaching and treatment network delivering high-quality, sustainable rehabilitation support for servicemen, veterans, their families, and all those adversely affected by the war.
Through a Train the Trainers model, we aim to educate an initial generation of skilled instructors and healthcare professionals who can then train thousands more across hospitals, rehabilitation centres, universities, municipalities, and community organisations throughout Ukraine.
By combining evidence-informed complementary practices with existing medical systems, PranaRehab seeks to create a scalable legacy of resilience, recovery, and professional excellence that can serve Ukraine for generations to come.
