Thank you very much for your kind words and for considering me for this initiative. I truly appreciate the invitation and the work you and the PranaRehab team are doing.

I strongly believe that Ayurveda and yoga play a crucial role in supporting patients in establishing a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. These approaches address not only physical symptoms, but also the underlying causes of chronic stress, emotional imbalance, and psychosomatic conditions. By working with the nervous system, breath, body awareness, daily routines, and individualized lifestyle guidance, they support long-term healing rather than short-term symptom management.

In my experience, Ayurvedic and yogic methods are especially valuable in rehabilitation processes, including recovery from chronic stress and trauma-related conditions. They help prevent repeated exacerbations by restoring internal balance and resilience, and they support the harmonization of the body, mind, and nervous system as one integrated whole.

An important advantage of these methods is their simplicity and accessibility. Patients learn practical tools that are easy to understand and can be safely applied independently in everyday life, empowering them to take an active role in their own healing and long-term wellbeing.

I would be glad to discuss how I could contribute to PranaRehab’s educational and rehabilitative programs and support the dissemination of this knowledge among practitioners and patients.

Thank you again for the opportunity, and I look forward to staying in touch.

Kind regards, Natali.

Feedback from Oksana Krachenko

From March 11 - 14, 2026, a training on Pranayama breathing rehabilitation was held at the “Harmony” Rehabilitation Center of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the Uman City Council, with the participation of trainer, Nigel Hubbers - Principal of PranaRehab

Pranayama rehabilitation involves restoring physical and mental health through working with prana — vital life energy — particularly through special breathing practices.

The training was attended by:

• Psychologists

• Physical rehabilitation specialists

• Massage therapists

• Social workers

• Specialists supporting veterans and demobilised individuals

• Educators

As a representative of Uman State Pedagogical University, I had the opportunity to take part in this training.

For me, this was a real discovery. Although I had read a lot in scientific literature about prana and pranayama breathing exercises, I had never actually practiced them. I believed that this approach was more suitable for people experiencing “mild” stress.

After 2022, my experience has been different — I went through severe stress, and at the beginning of the war it was very difficult to cope with it. Over time, the body adapted to these conditions, but my psychophysical state still remains complex.

During the training, I not only practiced the exercises but also had the opportunity to try myself in the role of a trainer. I liked it — or rather, my mind and my body did. I try to practice daily, and I feel new strength to move forward in life. Not to live in fear and anxiety, but to live here and now, with all the small joys of everyday life.

At the same time, this method is valuable for training future psychologists and social workers in Ukraine, particularly at our university, as they will gain an effective tool for psychosocial support for people affected by the consequences of war. It can be introduced both as an academic subject and as a rehabilitation support course.

This is a valuable experience for the further development of rehabilitation across Ukraine.

Olga Bushueva - Lisova Polyana Rehabilitation Hospital

Hi Nigel!
Yesterday I conducted yoga nidra for two patients from Lisova Polyana. This is the first time I have conducted it. Interesting inner state after the session. Calmness, stillness, slowing down and a sense of depth
I want to thank you for the video and the opportunity to share this knowledge further 🙏
